Hi,
Everyone is intrested to participate in TCS buyback. As a Fyers user, we too excited to participate in it. How you are going facilitate your customers to participate in it. If no, then we have to switch to other brokers who offers us to participate.
PLEASE NOTE THIS IS VERY SERIOUS ISSUE.
Hi Anjan Kumar,
Currently we are working on Buyback feature, we are planning to launch it in first week of April.
Thank you for your Patience.
Util that time please provide offline support.
I thought that offline process is supported and I was planning to send offline form on Sunday and just reading that there is no way to participate and amount was blocked and can't do anything.
Bad service.
I agree with you . Very bad service they should provide offline support till that time. Its big loss
Yes, we do. Please go through this article.
What is offline process.
If I hold stocks as on 23rd Feb on my account, I'm eligible to participate in the BuyBack. Is there anything else we need to do? Please share the general process, It is the first time I'm applying for BuyBack.
This thread is of 16 days old, Still I don;t see any update in this thread from Fyers Team
Kranthi,
looks you opened demat account in broker which doesnot allow to participate in buybacks. Better to switch to others. Fyers service is worst
Yes, that's true. But, If we transfer the shares to other Demat, Can we still participate in the BuyBack offer ?
Even i too got the same doubt. If demat account belongs to same person Then we can participate
This is really bad and you say you're a new age tech company who don't support these things. Really pathetic !!!
We do support it. We've published an article to help you go through the offline procedure.
Is there any process for tendering shares offline? As broker fyers is liable to provide this facility to the client.
Even if you don't have any online platform for tendering, you should do it via offline mode/pay-in slip. Clarify on this issue asap.
Yes. They are not at all responding and tcs buyback is nearby.
@Tejas Khoday Please clarify regarding this buyback issue.
@Tejas Khoday please clarify how you are facilitating buyback to fyers users. Mainly for TCS buyback.
Most of the retailers bought tcs shares in fyers without knowing that buyback option in fyers. Now, what explanation you are going to provide ?
Please keep in mind that retailers kept faith on fyers and bought tcs shares.
Hi @Anjan Kumar @Harshit Shah @Kranthi Kumar @Deepa Kumari,
Sorry for the delay in response,
As per the Update. We are accepting Buyback Offline!
You have to send us your tender form via Email to support@fyers.in from your registered Email ID. We will process it!
@Tejas Khoday FyersTeam,
Very bad to see un-ethical practice like this. If you don't have a feature in place, come forward and inform your customers well in advance. Your customers would have bought the TCS shares in another demat account where the facility is available. Will you be buying from your customers at the offer price of 4500 ?
You have an online process for account opening, but for others, people have to follow offline procedure. Your negligence or lack of planning makes thousands of clients to step out to go to post-office / courier centers to follow the offline process during the COVID times.
I urge your attention to give an announcement to all your clients about the offline procedure ASAP.
They are changing their words.
Sometimes, they says no offline or online process. And now they are saying offline process exist.
Worst service.
@Anirban Kanrar
Where is the Tender form available? Pls share the link on priority..
Hi Kranthi Kumar,

We'll enable online buyback soon. Currently, you'll have to apply offline. Read this for more info. - https://support.fyers.in/portal/en/kb/articles/how-can-i-apply-for-buyback-of-shares-in-fyers
It looks Fyers team clock doesn't tick as I'm still waiting for the 24-48 hrs to complete for the buyback process initiation. Poor team.
Not true. We've published an article on how to apply for the buyback here.
i am also waiting for reply mail from fyers as 48 hrs over from my request mail, very poor response service from fyers team, this is not i am expecting from a reputed broker like fyers, in upstox we just need to press one click to apply for buyback it takes just 2 min but in fyers even after 2 days i am unable to apply for buyback which is so frustrating next time i will definetely use upstox.
Atleast some relief now to process through offline.
@Tejas Khoday - So you mean to say 24-48 hrs still not completed basis the screenshot shown below? I'm ready to hear you out.
@Yashoda Bommanalli @Tejas Khoday
What next is to be done.? Submitted the form on 09th March 2022 to support team via email. When will the process be completed.?
Hi @Harakhchand Hemraj Gudhka HUF,
Kindly refer to this article on How to apply for the TCS buyback.
@Anirban Kanrar
I've added the said BO ID. which is currently pending for Authentication. I don't see an option to do OTP verification. Pls suggest
Hi @Kranthi Kumar,
We have arranged a call back from the team!
Thanks :)
@Anirban Kanrar
No drop down for CMID. Please help. I have to enter 6697 CM ID as suggested in TCS Buy back page you shared. Please help. Thanks
Hi Guys,
Please help me on this if anyone completed successfully
Hi Badri,
Is your BO ID authenticated ??? Under Edit Trusted Accounts ? Better to share the screenshot of previous step. i.e., Edit Trusted Accounts .
Same problem here.
After adding the Trusted BOID 1208940000139409, trying again and it says BOID already added but it doesn't show in the list of added BOID.
CM ID dropdown is blank, not showing 6697
EDIT: A while later the 1208940000139409 BOID is showing in the listed of TRUSTED BOID.
After that 6697 appears in CM ID.
Make sure to RESET and CHANGE the PIN.
Thanks for all the efforts by Support to try and get us over the line.
Same problem with me.
Same issue with me also, no CM ID in dropdown. Can someone from Fyers team help in this matter
me also waiting for reply from fyers team. I have also done email to cdsl what's wrong as many fyers people facing same issue. Just waiting for reply.
Hi @Badri,
Kindly let us know your Client ID in the DM.
We will arrange a call back from the team and guide you regarding this!
Thanks :)
Hi @Anirban Kanrar : my BOID is authenticated. Please check once - I am unable to enter CM ID. My client id is XB04695 . Kindly arrange call back and resolve the issue ASAP.
My issue is resolved now. Thanks Fyers team.
I am not able to proceed for tcs buyback as in cdsl easiest website not able to click on "CM ID". It is not showing option of CM ID 6697. I have reset pin, change pin, mapped my bo id fyers successfully but nothing is working. Kindly help for tcs buyback
Can you see the BOID added and Authenticated like in the image ?
I can see account type "BO" not CM..
@Chirag @Tejas Khoday how to convert "CM" from "BO"? I have submitted POA in fyers so hopefully it will not create any problem.
yes you are right. This is literally getting very much confusing.
@Chirag I'm getting this message and hence couldn't able to add Fyers BOID. How to resolve this. Moreover as we have submitted the scanned copy of the filled the offline form, I guess Fyers will take care of the Tender via offline mode.
1208940000139409 this is the account you have to ADD in Trusted A/Cs.
Check if its the same. Delete other a/c which are not relevant
Hi@ramakant samal,
Kindly let us know your Client ID in the DM.
We will arrange a call back from the team and guide you regarding this!
Thanks :)

Can you please tell me where to find this

Hope this will work
Hi @Anirban Kanrar Client ID is DA01609
Need a callback arranged from the Buyback team at the earliest!
Hi @Deepali Lahoti,
Kindly share your Client ID in the DM.
We will arrange a call back from the team!
Facing same issue of CMID not being available. Raised ticket but was closed saying issue is resolved though in reality it was not. Have been calling customer service and firstly it's very hard to reach them and finally when I did person said he will arrange for callback as he is not knowledgeable about buyback process. I have not received any call so far and trying to again reach customer service but call is not getting connected. Looks like simple procedure cannot be completed and no concern for customer loosing out on this buyback offer. Better to switch to other brokers who have made this process simple and clear.
client ID: XS26320
Thank you for not responding and letting customer loose this opportunity!! Ticket which I had raised is closed so good for your systems to not have open tickets but issue was never resolved so you may want to show good matrices internally about closed tickets but ground reality is different. Thanks for the response (or rather lack of it) and I reinforcing my decision to trade with other brokers as the right one. Best luck!
Does anybody (those who held shares in Fyers and applied via submitting offline form and via cdsl easiest) receive any confirmation of how many shares got received under the buyback ? My relatives who had applied online via other brokers platform had already got their conformation . What about Fyers cdsl easiest ? Anybody please respond.
Yes i have also same doubt my friend got confirmation from upstox but what about me applied in cdsl through fyers
Today morning, CDSL has debited the units from my Demat account. Anyone else received such message ?
Yes cdsl debited total appllied units dont know how many will be accepted
Any idea when do we get the confirmation about allotment ?
Yes i was having 10 tcs shares in fyers and I applied for all 10 shares for buyback. Luckily 2 were accepted out of 10 which is not bad.
Got confirmation directly from tcs in email.
Yes, Communication from TCS is pretty nice..
CDSL also credit the remaining units back now. Just received the confirmation..
Thanks to @Yashoda Bommanalli @Anriban Kanrar @Tejas Khoday
Thought there were initial hiccups with the Buyback process, you were able to help many clients. Thanks for your support for the Online Buyback process.
We have received confirmation from TCS about the allotment, Cash credited to the Bank Account, Remaining TCS shares were credited back to the Demat account.
Dear fellow investors, Traders, Hope you were also have a similar experience. Feel free to share the views.
Hi,
there are lot of buybacks in progress. As mentioned by you earlier, that buyback option will be available in the first week of April but till now, ita not available. What is the update.
fyers users,
why are keeping quite ? Its available in other platforms, then we have to question them
Hi Anjan,
First off all thanks for keeping the patience and believing in FYERS. So now the wait is going to get over and FYERS Buyback Portal is almost ready. Some last stage testing is going on and hopefully you will be able to place buyback orders by 1st week of June.
Hi Suruchi,
any update on this ? or you keep on extending the dates. We have zydus buyback which starts from June 23rd. Based on your above response, i bought shares. Now, tell me when you are going to make buyback option available and if not, how can i tender the shares in buyback ?
Hi @Anjan,
Today we have gone live with our Buyback Platform. Going forward you can participate in all the upcoming Buybacks. Thanks for keeping the patience and believing in FYERS. Happy Trading .
Thanks.! Where can i find option to place buyback request
Hi,
any update on this. Please let us the process of applying buyback. Where can we find that option . Is there any separate link for that ?
Hi @Anjan Kumar you need click on My accounts, under that click on Corportae Action and you will see Buyback portal. In a day or so we will come out with a video covering Buyback. If you want to know more about Buyback , you can click on the below mention link.
https://support.fyers.in/portal/en/kb/platforms-tools/corporate-actions/buyback
awesome, hope Fyers continues in same spirit.
Unable to apply for Indiamart intermesh buyback. Please help to resolve this issue. Window to apply for buyback is open now.
Hi @Anjan Kumar
May I know which companies are participating Buybacks. Pls share the list and the respective dates that you have
Hi Kranthi Kumar,
You can check details related to upcoming IPO, OFS, Buyback on the below mentioned link.
https://www.nseindia.com/market-data/all-upcoming-issues-ipo
@Suruchi Kapoor IndiaMART InterMESH buyback window is open now. Why i dont see it in buyback company list?
Our system is integrated with BSE. So whatever the Buyback listed in BSE you will be able to apply. However, most of the Buyback will be listed in both Exchange. Integrating with NSE is also in our future consideration.
BSE official link
https://www.bseindia.com/markets/PublicIssues/AcqIssueDetail.aspx?Type=1
Again such a worst experience with Fyers. Why didnt you say this earlier. You have to provide correct information to the customers. Based on your confirmation, I bought Zydus shares and many other shares. Now, you have done a blast.
Now, who will buy my shares... Fyers ? or who ?
This is not at all accepted from Fyers. How, you are going to do justice for me.
Hi Anjan Kumar,
If you see my previous reply , I had very clearly stated that " Our system is integrated with BSE. So whatever the Buyback listed in BSE you will be able to apply. However, most of the Buyback will be listed in both Exchange. There can be few cases where the Buyback may not getting listed in one of the exchange due to some compliance issue. Integrating with NSE is also in our future consideration."
Also we can not be sure on which exchange the buyback is going to get listed . However you can tender your Zydus shares by connecting through the lead managers. For your reference sharing the link. You can go through this link and surrender your shares. If you need any help in understanding feel free to reach us.

Hi Suruchi,
If you see your previous reply, "Hi @Anjan,
Today we have gone live with our Buyback Platform. Going forward you can participate in all the upcoming Buybacks. Thanks for keeping the patience and believing in FYERS. Happy Trading . "
Where did you stated that its limited to few buyback and integrated to BSE only. Looks you are acting smart. Also, the link which you shared have only lead manager details but dont see the process how to surrender shares through lead managers.
Hi All,
I suggest everyone to use some other broker. They are playing tricks with their customers. They are doing the same since TCS buyback and making customers to struggle a lot. Why do we need to struggle. Better to switch to another right.
Hi Anjan,
Sorry to say, but seems you have not seen the link clearly. There is one document attached which clearly state the process. For your reference I have pasted below the paragraph from the document shared by the company along with the Lead managers details. Besides this will request you to know more in detail, please go through point point number 11 of the document.
PROCESS AND METHODOLOGY FOR BUYBACK 11.1 The Buyback is open to all Eligible Shareholders holding Equity Shares either in physical and/ or in dematerialized form as on Record Date. 11.2 The Buyback shall be implemented using the “Mechanism for acquisition of shares through Stock Exchange” as specified by the SEBI Circulars (“Stock Exchange Mechanism”) and following the procedure prescribed in the Companies Act and the Buyback Regulations and as may be determined by the Board (including Committee authorized to complete the formalities of the Buyback) on such terms and conditions as may be permitted by law from time to time. 11.3 For implementation of the Buyback, the Company has appointed ICICI Securities Limited as the registered broker to the Company (“Company’s Broker”) to facilitate the process of tendering of Equity Shares through the Stock Exchange Mechanism for the Buyback and through whom the purchases and settlements on account of the Buyback would be made by the Company.
The contact details of the Company’s Broker are as follows: ICICI Securities Limited Address: ICICI Venture House, Appasaheb Marathe Marg, Prabhadevi, Mumbai - 400 025; Tel no.: +91 22 6807 7345; Fax no.: +91 22 6807 7803; Contact person: Allwyn Cardoza; Email: allwyn.cardoza@icicisecurities.com; SEBI registration no.: NSE & BSE: INZ000183631
Addressing your second concern, where I have mentioned, so will request you to check the above thread, you will be able to figure out.
Also, if sharing the right information is smartness then I, take it as a compliment at least we are true to our customers and don't give any false hopes or promises, unlike other broking houses where they are not bother to share the right information with their clients.
If you need further any help in this buyback, feel free to get in touch. It will be my pleasure to help you and guide you. Thanks
Hi Anjan Kumar,
I was never aware that sharing the right information with the clients is considered to be as playing a trick. You really need to check the definition of trick, also I really don't know what will you be calling to those brokers who hide information from clients????...
Again and again you giving example of TCS, so in that also we never gave a false promise or hope. We stick to our promise of coming up with the Buyback Platform. Some delays happened in going live, but you should also understand Rome was not build in a day. To deliver good things with quality take time . Also, Trick would be . if we had promise and did not delivered as per our promise.
Also, we are already in process to integrate the NSE system, so that our clients can apply for the buybacks which are going to be listed only on the NSE.
Hope your all concerns are being address, if you have further any more concerns or feedbacks do share on this platform, would love to address them. Thanks.
