Does ETFs pay dividends🧐?

Join FYERS Community to pick others' brains on Trading/Investing

Very few Exchange Traded Funds payout dividends as they mostly reinvest into the stocks again. Unless they reinvest, the dividends received from underlying stocks in the portfolio, which can either be cash dividends or unit dividends, will be distributed to unit holders.

Examples of some ETFs which have declared dividends over the years.

Keep calm and trade on.

Yes, ETFs pay dividends if any of the stocks in the fund pay dividends.
