Hi everyone,
I wanted to initiate a discussion about the latency one can expect with the APIBridge. I have gone through the documentation and it has been proved via the screenshots that it is a few milliseconds. Let me start by giving you an idea of my setup :
- TradingView (TV) Pro account
- Chrome API extension
- APIBridge
- Fyers web for trading (duh!)
I do trading with following dedicated hardware :
- Asus vivobook 14
- Core i5 8th gen
- 8gb RAM
- 512gb SSD
- Windows 10
- Broadband (50mbps constant)
With LAN or on Wi-fi, I get 2 to 3 seconds delay in order placement on Fyers web.
e.g. BUY Signal initiated from TV at 12:15:00 will place an order at Fyers Web at 12:15:03 (3 second delay). Exit signal received at 03:00:00 from TV will exit position at 03:00:02 (02 second delay) at Fyers web.
Any suggestion on improving this delay apart from a faster internet connection is welcome. Even for a faster internet connection, what's your recommendation / experience with respect to speed needed ?
Thanks in advance!
Hi, are you facing this issue only in first LE/LX or all orders? Suggest you to do this test:
Your system config is good and you should not face this lag in any orders at all. Issue could be somewhere else. After doing this test, create complete backup for today under Application Settings -> Backup & Restore-> tick all options-> click Backup. Email the backup folder to Fyers support team with description of issue. We will solve it ASAP.
Thanks Rashi. I am going to try it during market hours tomorrow and will send the logs to Fyers support.
Thanks
I am having the same issue. FYERA APi bridge is showing popup for order with a delay of almost 5 to 10 secs which ia huge. My internet speed is awesome 150 mbps ( jio fiber ) and tested the latency as well. It is working fine but only fyers api is responding with a delay. Is it pre-planned by fyers to make us in loss or shall we expect some workable solution instead of your bullshit copy paste workarounds.
